8'4" X 2'8" Quali-Y-Nau Baluch Kilim [SH-268]

A Quali-Y-Nau Baluch kilim. One half woven on a narrow loom that joined to a second one from the past. This piece is now a lovely room size runner. An impressive 11 cord selvedge; outer row is goat hair. Fine weft float. Brocading S Dragon parade along both ivory kilim ends. With 6 colors, this kilim was given a museum-quality hand wash before being preserved from light and wear in our gallery's Kilim Room.
