An antique Balisht pillow/cushion from Afghanistan. With a silky saturated wool, this rug features a strong green, with ram’s head motifs. The design of the weave of this item suggests that it could possibly be a Dowry weaving. Very good condition, and given a museum quality hand wash before being preserved from light and wear in our gallery’s famous Baluch Room.
