Antique Caucasian Seychour small rug. This small Caucasian rug was woven in the 2nd half of the 19th century by the Seychour artisans. Features a field design depicting the Seychour cross which resembles an abstract garden scene interspersed by birds and flower motifs on dark blue background. The major border features colorful floral palmettes with inner cross that is connected by curvilinear lines, also referred to as the 'crab border' surrounded by two eagle design minor borders. Stunning wall hanging art or decorative small floor rug.
