A superb tribal Khorjin weaving of completely opened bag panels woven in fine detail of ancient tribal motifs, horned birds, plants, and zoomorphic creatures. The number of natural dyes in combination with intricate motifs, a treasured dowry weaving. Intact danier set. The bottom portions are woven in a long pile of lustrous wool with a glossy patina. This portion of Korjin was in contact with the horse/donkey or camel. This wool on hair polished the follicles. 12 colors. Luri Bakhtiari, second half of the 19th century.
