Collector's Notes
This antique Baluch small rug was woven in the mid to late 19th Century and features a rare design with Turkmen style influences. Two siamese turreted gul medallions float on saturated purplish brown field. Stepped diamonds with abstract crosses fill center. A very old example of this type of weaving. Great tribal wall hanging art or a small floor rug.

Condition:Good condition with slight light loss to sides. Age appropriate wear across the knot heads with moderate pile height. Floppy and pliable feel. Secured sides and ends.
