Collector's Notes
This antique Baluch rug was woven in the late 19th Century by the Chakhansur artisans. It features four central hexagonal medallions that are surrounded by three alternating mirroring patterns with bird head patterns on a vibrant field. Serrated diamond motifs showing Harshang gol detail in the center. All finished with an intricately drawn meandering stripe and cross border with four pairs of curled bird heads. Great floor rug or accent hanging art.

Condition: Great condition considering age with even wear to knot heads (pile). The original four sides and flatwoven kilim ends are still intact. Fully secured.
