Collector's Notes
This antique Shirvan kilim flatwoven rug was woven in the mid to late 19th Century and features a very colorful palette and fine weave. The kilim displays 5 rows of large hexagonal latch-hook medallions on ivory background. All bordered by six horizontal bands containing stepped diamonds and alternating opposed triangular crenelations. Gorgeous floor rug or large wall hanging art.
