Collector's Notes
This antique Caucasian kilim runner flatwoven rug was woven in the mid to late 19th Century and features a very colorful palette and fine weave. The kilim displays 4 rows of alternating large hexagonal medallions with finely drawn perched bird heads. Interspersed are five rows of four headed opposing bird motifs. All bordered by ten horizontal bands containing multi-colored geometric ribbons. Gorgeous floor rug or large wall hanging art.
