Collector's Notes
This antique Kizil Ayak rug was woven in the late 19th Century and featured turreted Turkmen gul medallions on a deep red field and interesting brown, blue, and cream-colored details in the guls. The secondary diamond motifs house multi-directional miniature shrubs. Great floor rug. 7 colors.
