Collector's Notes

This antique Timuri bag face small rug was woven in the late 19th Century. It features fourteen hexagonal medallion enclosing tree motifs floating on a dark green background. It is finished with a meandering vine border on saturated cherry red. Great square floor rug or accenting wall hanging art.
