Short velvety pile and fineness of weave are hallmarks of this Persian Rug woven in the Ferahan Plain. 6 eight sided medallions radiate outward onto a white ground field. Please note the face within the center petal that sees all. Another Cheshire like face appears at the top of the white ground between spandrels. Outer border missing on both ends. Secured. 10 vegetable colors. 4’8” X 3’5”. Delicately hand washed.
