An antique 3-medallion runner from the Derbent Caucasus region of Azerbaijan, circa the last quarter of the 19th century. Serrated medallions with honeycomb floral center. Half gul sides show botehs and plant forms. Barber pole stripe connecting medallions terminates arrow (potentially a mirab). 8 colors, and was given a museum-quality hand wash.
