Collector's Notes
This Antique Persian Baluch rug was woven in the 2nd half 19th Century. It features a classic 'Mina Khani' flower design with serrated leaves enclosing stepped medallions on chocolate brown background. Fine use of glowing cherry red. It is finished with a finely woven meandering leaf and bird head medallion border. Great floor rug or wall hanging art.

Condition: Excellent condition considering age with moderate pile height. Soft wool with floppy handle. Original selvedges. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor brown corrosion (natural occurrence) from 100+ years of age.
