Collector's Notes
This antique Turkmen rug was woven in the mid 19th Century. It features a nice rendering of the archaic eagle design elem panel (piled end). Outstanding geometric stepped diamond motifs, known as the 'Ashik-cross' design float in the rectangular compartment at the top. Tuning fork border exhibits a nice ivory background. Great floor rug or wall hanging art.

Condition: Good condition. Even low pile. Few areas of wear. A nick to selvage.
