An Ersari Bashir long rug. From the late 19th century and in very good condition. The design features a single main medallion and 4 minor medallions. Multiple beautiful borders - an Ashik border, a rosette border, and a H guard border. 4 borders total, with one missing on one end. 4 small reweaves are visible. With 9 colors (including sea green and indigo) this rug was given a museum quality hand wash before being preserved from light and wear in our gallery.
