Collector's Notes
This antique Shahsavan bagface square rug was woven in the 2nd Quarter of the 19th Century. It features a rare geometric turtle border that encloses two rows of fantastic animal group creatures separated by elongated bird head motif horizontal bar. Great floor rug or accenting wall hanging art.
