Collector's Notes
This Antique Turkmen Ersari long rug was woven in the late 19th Century. This piece features three stacked octagonal medallions commonly referred to as 'Suliman/Sulyman' guls to rug scholars which comprise of four quadrants enclosing pine cone-like drawings and a center window. All surrounded by three interesting border designs with neutral and warm coloration throughout. Great floor rug.

Condition: Excellent condition considering age with full thick wool pile. Small nick to right selvedge as shown. Soft and lustrous feel.
