An antique Khamseh Confederacy tribal carpet. Originating from South Iran, this piece contains multiple bird motifs - a design that Khamseh rugs are known for. Made in the second half of the 19th century, in excellent condition with no repairs, original salvage and kilim ends with eight colors, this piece was given a museum quality hand wash before being displayed in our gallery.
