Antique Ersari Main Carpet. Afghanistan. Early 19th Century. 3 X 6 Gulli-gol. Note small miniature tertiary octagonal gols. Horse hair warp. Can fold it like a blanket - textile feel. Deep saturated red. Clear peach and old green colors. Reselvaged. Brown goat hair warp. Slight wear to upper field as shown. 7 colors. 6'3" X 8'1". Delicately hand washed.
