Collector's Notes
This Antique Persian Baluch rug was woven in the late 19th Century. It features a unique rendition of a diagonal lattice design with diamond medallions enclosing mini trees with opposing bird heads. Fine use of glowing cherry red. It is finished with a finely coven curled leaf and meandering vine border. Great accent rug or wall hanging art.

Condition: Very good condition considering age with moderate pile height. Soft wool with floppy handle. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor brown corrosion (natural occurrence) from 100+ years of age.
