Early Timuri Balisht. Circa 1850. Natural black wool partial ground, deep blue-green glowing purple. Stepped latticework. Encloses diamond shapes containing eight-point stars and 8 saturated dyes. The lower third field is black wool corrosion, a small reweave to one corner. The back is missing. Lovely borders.
