    1'11" X 3'5" Antique Anatolian Yastik Small Rug [SH-022]

This Antique Anatolian Yastik small rug was woven in the late 19th Century and features two sets of alternating colored curvilinear bird head panels. This small graphic piled panel was originally woven with a flatwoven back and was originally filled with wool or goods that served a utilitarian purpose. Like the vast majority of older examples of Yastiks still in existence, only the front piled panel remains. Great small floor rug or wall hanging art.
