A Turkomen Yomoud rug, circa late 1800's. The design displays a staggered Kepse gol pattern on a pastel plum field. The top and bottom have an Ashik gol pattern with curled leaves. Intact kilim ends, striped selvedge, 12 colors (including a saturated indigo and light green), and given a high-quality hand wash before being stored from light and wear.
