Veramin Plain Persian Tribal Rug. Three lobed guls of archetypal shape. Flanking a rosette filled star motif are Saryk or Ersari dragons note in the two pairs of half guls. Dragon face outer borders. Being checkered twin cross with hooks flaned by linked both minor borders. 8 saturated colors. Found in NYC 1983. Hand washed then rolled up. Example - Oriental Rugs from Pacific Collection page 72.
