    Varamin Plain Persian Tribal Rug. Three lobed guls of archetypal shape. Flanking a rosette-filled star motif are Saryk or Ersari dragons, noted in the two pairs of half guls. Dragon face outer borders. Being a checkered twin cross with hooks flanked by linked minor borders. 8 saturated colors. Found in NYC in 1983. Hand-washed then rolled up.
