11' X 9'4" Antique Ersari Main Carpet [SH-081]

An antique Ersari main carpet. Features a 3 X 7 purple gol pattern on a maroon field. The secondary gol pattern is a diamond filled with flower heads. Horse hair warp and kilim ends. The rare minor border shows indigo angled and plumed birds heads. In very good condition, and with 7 colors, this rug was given a museum-quality hand wash before being preserved from light and wear in our gallery's Turkoman room.
